this season. But before I do that, I need to remind you that. We are an independent podcast

Awesome to see you, as usual, Matt. And I think we've probably got a really good lineup of stuff

to talk about, because it's been a little while, as usual, between now and the last time.

Yes, I know. It's good to let the stuff percolate. But before we get to the

serious tech stuff, there's some tiny bit of news that I want to bring up, namely that we've seen

that General Motors has been approved to bring an engine to the 2029 season. And I'm just going to

ask, is that some kind of hint as to how long we're going to see

the 26 regs last? More than likely. Obviously, there's been a great discussion as of late

as to the misgivings of the 2026 regulations, let's call it, and also the potential to bring back something like a V10,

V8, etc., depending on what is actually going to be discussed
