The town of Greater Nap Napani in the province of Ontario, Canada.

Well, it's a very nice town. It's an old town. It's small.

I love Napani. I think it's great. It's a great place to raise your kids, have a family.

Everybody really knows each other to be like a small town and you kind of like know everybody. That's like probably the best part. You know, small town, Canada, that kind of stuff. A lot of blue collar workers, but extremely friendly. It has most of the services you need. Lots of little, cute little shops that are local and... There's Walmart. That's about all I know about Napanee.

One horse town, what would you want to live here for?

So, mixed reviews for Napani there.

I don't mean to disrespect the town, but it doesn't have loads going for it.

Like you heard, there is a Walmart and a Tim Horton's coffee shop and a dollarama, the modern butcher, baker and candlestick maker.

But you want, I hear you screaming, why did you jet all around the world to visit an unremarkable provincial town in Canada?

Well, because in one very specific way, it is remarkable.

It was home to pop-punk icon, Avril Levine.

Oh, yeah, she's a singer, yeah, young gal.

She came from here, that's all I know.

I know a few people that did go to school with her.

She used to do the whole circuit around here.

She used to sing in bookstores.
