I'm The As part of a series, kind of lightheartedly referred to as history's mysteries.

This is a very serious topic, and it's got to do with the Lincoln assassination and all the

principles and secondary individuals that were involved in this.

With us is an author, a retired educator by the name of Troy Cowan.

He's written two books about this period, the Civil War and its principles.

One is entitled Lincoln, Davis and Booth, Family Secrets.

The other is entitled Isola.

Before I throw it over to Troy, I would just ask people, if I were to ask you, with regard to

history, if you ever remember hearing the name Martha Lysola Mills, it probably won't ring a bell.

But if I were to attach the name Booth at the end, would that ring a bell?

And it's about that person to which we will speak.

Now, I just used the name Isola, which is the principal name of the book, but actually there's a subtitle,

and that is the story of John Wilkes Booth's wife.

Before we go any further, I just want to find out from you whether or not, to this day, their contingence as to whether or not, to this day, there are contensions as to whether or not Isola was

John Wilkes Booth's wife.

I mean, we can say she was a paramour, I guess.

Is there some contentiousness about referring to her as Booth's wife?
