0:12.0	or so many different things that have changed since that date that could possibly help.
0:16.0	On October 2nd, 1999, my son went on a hike up in the Colorado Mountains and he walked

0:24.9	It was a situation to where no parent ever expects to be.
0:29.5	A lot goes to your mind.
0:31.6	You hope that you see him.
0:32.5	You hope that everybody is doing the right things to find your child.
0:36.3	Then on a June day in 2003, two hikers came across clothes in the woods.
0:41.3	And there was never an official cause of death given in Jared's disappearance.
0:44.3	And the case hasn't been officially closed in case new evidence is found 20 years later.
0:49.3	20 years later, there are few answers.
0:51.3	Yeah, just incredible.
0:52.3	The effort that went in there and his father really seems to be in a good
0:55.9	place, really at peace with everything.
0:57.7	Now finding peace in the unknown, like he says, and trying to make sense of what has happened.
