Trying to get a handle on this case we're about to cover.

I went into it thinking it was a very straightforward story and then realized that it's not.

And there's a lot of rabbit holes to go down.

Yeah, there is.

And this is one, Justin, I would say, is maybe the most popular case for people to request from us

in the past six months. We've been getting kind of a deluge of suggestions about this one

and people pleading with us to please get the word out there. And there's just so much concern

for this family. I should say for these families, really, because this is a bigger

case than one person. There are actually two victims in this case, and we'll get to it.

Yeah, so this is an older case. It happened in February of 99 up in Maine, and a teenage girl

had been out with friends, and she was supposed to be spending the night

with somebody, and then her body was later found in the road by a passing motorist. How do we go

from a teen girl going out to have fun with friends to being found dead in the road?

It's kind of a harrowing and scary case because we were all teenagers at one time.

We would go to parties.

We would go out with friends.

And we never really knew how much danger we were in at any point when we were that age.
