I was Amy's age and grew up in the neighboring city. 0:11.6	Amy was last seen at the Bay Village Square Shopping Plaza, a popular after-school hangout for kids.
0:17.6	She reportedly told classmates it was here that she was to meet a family friend who would take her on a shopping spree.
0:23.6	Amy's body was found in Ashland County near the Huron County line. That's well to the southwest of the community of Bayville.
0:29.6	Now we have no new developments since yesterday. We conducted searches today. We had four dogs, a helicopter, approximately 40 police officers and various law enforcement officers from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
0:45.3	We had four of our police fire divers out today checking bodies of water in the area, and we have come up with nothing. Out there the victim was a male 11 years old.
0:59.0	He was abducted by an individual wearing a ski mask and had a gun.
1:02.0	Here of course Amy's abduction was accomplished as a part of a ruse.
1:06.0	Their goal was to be prepared and to just get the students through this day.
1:10.0	Well they did it and they'll do it again tomorrow and the next day,
1:14.3	until the students accept and understand Amy's tragic departure from their lives
1:18.9	and until they can continue on with their own.
1:22.1	In Bay Village, I'm Barbara Serrano reporting for the 10 o'clock news.
1:26.0	This whole thing had to be a tremendous shot for the entire family.
1:28.9	It was. It's terrible. It's something that just couldn't heal. Hopefully not we all.
1:34.2	Within 30 miles of the abduction site is usually where the victim is found, either alive or dead.
1:40.2	Mother came home from work that evening. Her son told her Amy wasn't home yet.
1:48.0	And the next thing he said was he said I passed her bicycle in the rack at school at 430 and the FBI's William Brannon says he may still be in the area carefully watching the investigation
