Hello my friends, welcome back to The Morning Mindset.

I hope you're doing well.

Here we are wrapping up the month of January and man, 2023, has just flown by, hasn't

it?

It's my desire that you're continuing to walk the Lord in 2023 and that The Morning Mindset

is helping you do so.

Today we're looking at Matthew chapter 6 verse 24 in our effort to get our mind aligned

with the truth of God's Word and we're going to be reading another of Jesus' instructions

or descriptions of people who are servants of the kingdom of heaven, those who live in

the kingdom, those who are citizens of his kingdom, and he's describing these attitudes

of mind sets because he wants us to take the time to evaluate ourselves.

And friends in this one, I'm going to be very honest with you and give you some illustrations

for my own life that are things I have to be careful of along the line of what Jesus

is teaching.

Let's read it.

Matthew 6, 24, he says, no one can serve two masters.

Either he will hate the one and love the other or he will be devoted to the one and despise

the other.

Now let's stop there before we go forward and just get the imagery very clear in our minds.

Jesus is drawing a picture of a person who has maybe a choice or an option to serve

one master or another.
