Our colleague Bob McMillan has been on the show a lot as a reporter and recently as a guest

host on our series about a Russian hacker.

And I think at the start of Hack Me If You Can, the series that you hosted, Ryan said,

whenever there's a hacking or a hacker, there's one person we call up.

And that's you.

That's right.

I'm your on-call hacker analyst.

And last week, we needed to call up Bob, our on-call hacker analyst, because there was

news about a big whistleblower complaint filed by a former hacker.

His name is Peter Zatko, but everybody in the hacking world knows him as much.

He's been around for close to 30 years.

And he's really, really famous at the hacker clients that I go to.

And he's been on the cutting edge of all kinds of security, computer security problems

since way back in the 90s.

And have you met him?

I have met him.

He's a wiry guy, a lot of energy, just whipsmart, and he has this ability to talk about

the technology, but he can also make it accessible.

This is a really important skill in the security world, because a lot of times the problems

are really, really hard to understand.

And so you need people who can explain it in a way that makes you feel like you know

what the problem is.
