I thought that I would do something special for you today.

Not every, and only every so often, do we actually host a debate here on rules for retrogrades?

Last Friday, I hosted one between Dr. Ed Maza, on the one hand,

and Mr. Steve O'Reilly on the other, about the merits of the claims of the so-called Beneplenis,

those who claim, like Dr. Maza, that Benedict is still Pope and that Francis is not the Pope. Today I bring you some

debrief analysis and I guess I'll sort of debrief. I'll re-brief with Patrick Coffin, who is strongly

on Dr. Maza's side, that Benedict is still the Pope. That'll be on Monday. But today I have a special guest, Mr. Boss, boss, boss man. Everyone's been weighing in on this. It made sense. We

hosted our debate, which was last Friday, which was, of course, the anniversary, ourselves.

What is the nature of this pontificate? What is the meaning of it? And I guess, if you go so far as Dr.

Mazza, is it a real pontificate at all?
