Happy birthday, Satoshi Nakamoto.

I'm joined by my colleague CoinDisk reporter Tom Carreras on this very special day. For those who don't know, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, claimed their birthday was April 5, 1975 when registering a username with the

P2P Foundation. That would make it a big milestone for a fake birthday, the Big 50.

Sadoci also claimed he lived in Japan, but that's also likely and true. We have no idea, really.

But there is a man who tried to uncover this mystery in a book called The Mysterious Mr. Nakamoto.

That man is author Benjamin Wallace, and he joins us now.
