Because the studio that Jake got us would have been an hour from both of us. That's why we didn't do it in person.

And I didn't want to make you wake up early, DC. I know you had a tough weekend out in Utah, man. A lot that went down. Our homeboy, Dustin Porier, got the head kick, heard around the world. Since the last head kick, heard around the world, happening in Utah and Salt Lake City. And so it was a tough weekend, man. So we'll just do it this way.

RC, we were both at fights last weekend. I was in Salt Lake City, which I'm going to get to, but you were in Las Vegas, bro. There is no energy or it would seem like there's no energy like a big box and fight energy. Talk to me. Wait, first, always stop, stop, stop. First, we got to talk in the show. We're joined by Teddy Atlas, the master of boxing. Ryan, this is crazy. And then we always tap into tap out. But guys, there's no energy like a boxing fights energy. RC.

How was the arena compared to what you feel in the UFC granted? It doesn't happen as often in boxing. When a big boxing fight happens, there's nothing like it.

Well, I think the one thing that happens in boxing is those fights are special. You don't get Terrence Crawford versus Errol Spence all the time to undefeated fighters, two guys that whole title belt.

So you don't get that sort of atmosphere created for you in boxing very often. And the other thing is it almost feels more star studded.

It's a different sort of thing, kind of like when we saw Denzel Washington, when he played Frank Lucas on American gangster walking in with the fur coat. You know, you had all of these different stars from all of these different sports.

And they were so invested into what was going on in that ring in that last fight between Crawford and Spence.

And then it was a virtue also performance by Terrence Crawford. It was a performance to me that put him in the conversations with Walter weights like Floyd Mayweather.

It was so dominant that even though I know that's what Errol Spence signed up for. That's what Errol Spence gets paid for. And that's what Errol Spence for 28 times out of 28 times.

That was the side he ended up on. It was almost sad to watch. It was such a dominant beautifully executed and physical performance by Terrence Bud Crawford.

I can't see anyone ever doubting him again. And he is now boxing superstar.

You know what's crazy RC? I was watching that fight and I could tell the difference right in the guy that fought to see with six or seven against the guy that started fighting in high school.

There were differences in the approach and Teddy Atlas and I get into that a little bit later. So we really going to dig deep into the fight with Teddy Atlas.

The guy that actually knows more about it than ever. But I was so impressed by Bud Crawford in the performance that he put on last weekend.

RC, I was also in a place where the energy was crazy. I was in Salt Lake City in Ryan. Salt Lake City is quickly becoming one of the best fight cities in the entire country from fight number one RC.

There were 10,000 people in there. And they heard you say that that's the fight. Yeah.

Nine fights of the 11 were finishes Ryan. It was packed. It was loud. But ultimately it led to Justin Gaichy becoming the BMF champion.

First, how surprised were you that he won, but not only won, he won by a head kick.

Well, I think we'd all decided that this fight wasn't going five rounds. I just don't believe that anyone could have envisioned that it ended with a head kick by Justin Gaichy in the second round.

But if you go back to the first, he tried it then. And if you remember, Justin Porje was able to parry it a little bit and not necessarily take the full brunt of the kick.
