I'm going to tell you two or three times when I really, really missed God because of reasoning.

I disobeyed God because of reasoning.

I was in my closet one morning.

I was getting ready to go to a meeting that I did weekly in St. Louis, and there was

several people that volunteered, but there was one girl that was just really faithful and

volunteered for a long time. Her name was Ruth Ann. And so I was just praying for Ruth Ann,

blessed Ruth Ann. God, what could I do for Ruth Ann?

Well, I had a, that dress was brand new.

It was still under the plastic.

I loved it so much that I had even bought it one size too big for me

because that was the only one they had.

And it was a dress that you couldn't really tell it because it belted at the waist.

And I bought some red and silver earrings to go with it.

And I hadn't worn it yet.

I had it a couple of weeks and hadn't worn it.

And I just knew in my heart when I said,

what can I do for Ruth in? I knew God put it in my heart, give her that red dress. Well, I didn't

want to give her the red dress. And so I reasoned that couldn't have been God because that dress was new.
