Job said in Job 31, I made a covenant with my eyes.

Why then should I think upon a maid?

You know what his covenant was, not to look?

And you better make a covenant with your eyes.

Job recognized that the thought is father to the deed,

and that if he allowed his eyes the privilege,

they would pander his

adulterous heart.
