TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

Romans 11:5–10 So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. [6] But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace. [7] What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened, [8] as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, down to this very day.” [9] And David says, “Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them; [10] let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see, and bend their backs forever.” (ESV)

0:10.0	This is our opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word for this day.
0:16.0	Today we are in Romans chapter 11 verses 5 through 10.
0:20.0	And we have kind of a difficult passage ahead of us,
0:23.0	so I just want to prepare you for that. Take a deep breath, put on your humility hat. And by that,
0:30.1	I mean get ready to submit yourself to what God has to say. Set aside your human opinion,
0:36.5	set aside your strong feelings, and let God speak to you
0:40.1	today about the truth of how things are. Now, before we dig into the passage today, I want to remind you,
