Whether you're out of the track, out on a job, or just enjoying summer weather, daily sun exposure adds up.

About 90% of non-melanoma skin cancer, such as basal cell carcinoma and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma,

are linked to ultraviolet, also known as UV, radiation from the sun.

The good news, simple steps can make a big difference in protecting your skin.

Wear long sleeves, a wide brim hat, and even some sunglasses.

Use broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and reapply over two hours.
