Assalamu alaikum.

One of the first things you're going to be asked when you pass away

is how you earned your wealth and where you spent it. And this is the reason

why there is a narration that states that the poor will be going into heaven before those who are

wealthy. Some of the scholars say the narration is weak, but those who draw a lesson from that narration

say that the reason is they would have a lot to declare and it makes

sense that if a person has so much of wealth and they have to give accounts of every penny or

cent or every fraction of it where did it come from and where did you spend it they would obviously

require lots of input

and at the same time they would be very worried and concerned.

Whereas a person who has had very little or almost nothing,

they would not have much to worry about.

Remember my brothers and sisters the responsibility and duty that we have unto Allah.
