Assalamu alaikum.

Allah Almighty loves that you call out to him.

He has created us in a way that we have needs.

And those needs, he says he will meet the needs.

He wants you to call out to him so there are

some things that Allah alone can do like to give you goodness in terms of having a

blessed life to bless what you have in a way

that you benefit from it so much, to be able to forgive you to the degree that you earn

Jannatul Ferdos, the holistic forgiveness and so on, that is in the hands of Allah

subhanna.

Then human beings have a certain capacity as well

within which they can do certain things.

For example, if I've wronged you, I need to seek forgiveness from you,

please forgive me.

But I also need to ask Allah to forgive me

because while I wronged you, I transgressed against Allah.

So it's slightly different.

But today we want to address the issue of calling out to Allah.

Because it is one of the greatest acts of worship to pray and to ask from Allah.

We normally ask with our hands, you know, cupped together as though we're begging for something.

And we say, oh, Allah, grant me. Oh, Allah, give me. And oh, Allah, God, grant. you know, cupped together as though we're begging for something.
