Hey, it's me, Curiousity Reporter Adriana Cardona McGigad. I don't have a dog, but I've been thinking about getting one lately. If it wasn't for my very territorial cat.

But there are other reasons why I don't have a dog yet.

I have to pick up the poop and go on lots of walks, even if it's cold outside.

Hey, Adriana, can I just throw my two cents in here real quick?

Oh, hey there, Jason.

Well, that's our curiously producer, Jason Mark.

Jason, you're a big dog guy.

Oh, huge dog guy.

And years ago, I even worked for a dog trainer.

And let me tell you, being a dog owner is serious business.

First and foremost, dogs need lots of

exercise for their physical and mental health. Dogs need to socialize with people and importantly

with other dogs. Yeah, like at a dog park. Exactly. Socialization means they won't be aggressive

or fearful around other people or dogs.

Bad reactions could lead to serious injuries to dogs or people. And beyond that, you got to go to a vet to get the dog checked out, vaccinated, registered.

It's a whole process. Oh, wow. Oh, Oh yeah. I mean we dog owners have a lot of

responsibilities but it's all necessary for you, for your pet, anyone you come in contact with.

You won't go aside? All right I gotta go. Louie needs a walk. If he's got to go, he's got to go.
