Bridget and Scott, the trade deadline is only days away.

And the Bruins have already made some moves as well as a difficult loss last night to one of the worst teams in the

National Hockey League, the National Predators, but then again, the Bruins aren't too far from

those teams themselves. So let's get right into our opening shifts, and there's a lot to talk

about today. Yeah, there is. And then the first one we're going to start with is what happened in the morning,

which is Trent Frederick.

Being traded, obviously, it came a little bit before the deadline.

It came on Tuesday morning.

And I will, because it's a three-part trade, I'm going to go through each piece,

but I want to start by saying,

Trent Frederick ends up with the Edmonton Oilers, the Bruins end up with two draft picks and a defensive prospect. So, but I'm going to read you the list of how this came to be because it also

involves New Jersey Devils. So the first part of the trade was that the Bruins traded Frederick to the Devils,

retained 50% of his salary.

And in exchange, they got an unsigned draft choice, essentially just meaning a prospect

that hasn't started playing professionally yet, Peter Hauser.

And then they use that to the devil's trade.
