Welcome to 10-minute Bible Talks, where we connect the Bible to your life and the time it takes to get to work.

0:10.9

I'm Jensen Holt McNair.

0:13.0

Who gets your praise?

0:15.5

It's an interesting question.

0:17.7

I asked chat GBT who deserves our praise. And it said that praise is generally reserved for

0:25.1

people who make a positive impact, whether in your personal life or on a broader scale. So we praise the

0:33.4

1:20.8

the person who changed your life.

1:23.2

Now, that's how it was for Deborah in Judges Chapter 5.

1:26.6

She's so overwhelmed with gratitude and awe at how God has moved and provided for his people

1:32.7

that she sings a song of praise to God.

1:35.7

Deborah praises God.

1:36.9

She sings in verse 3, hear this, you kings, listen, you rulers, I, even I will sing to the Lord. I will praise the Lord, the God of Israel in song.

1:48.9

Now, in verse 10, she calls everyone, those who ride on donkeys, the rich, and those who walk by the wayside, the poor, to consider the song, to consider her praise to God.
