Like, what stage of grief are they at?

I called him up to talk about the latest way Democrats are sorting through their election wreckage by focusing on a totally new election.

Well, the challenge is nothing short of daunting. How to revitalize the party that lost the White House and Senate, whose membership is shrinking and whose activist members are demoralized.

But today, at least five Democrats.

This election is for the head of the DNC, the Democratic National Committee.

The field in the race to lead the Democratic National Committee is growing.

The chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, Ben Wickler, and former Maryland Senate candidate Robert Houton jumped in on Sunday.

Whoever wins is expected to chart a new course for the party after those bruising losses this year.

Before we even got into things, though, Gabriel wanted to make one thing clear.

This election is only going to tell you so much.

The truth of the matter is that usually big ideological fights about the future of the Democratic Party,

that tends to happen in presidential primaries.
