I'm blessed to be praying the Rosary with Sister Susan this evening.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

It's called in mind all those we've promised to pray for.

The greatest prayer is the Our Father.

Today we reflect on the truth of our father who aren't in heaven.

Our home is with our father and our fatherland is heaven.

Speaking about the patriarchs who lived and died with faith, Paul writes,

Before receiving any of the things that had been promised, they saw them in the far distance and welcomed them,

recognizing that they were only strangers and sojourners on earth.

People who use such terms about themselves make it quite plain

that they are in search of their real homeland.

In fact, they were longing for a better homeland, their heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be their father, since he has founded a home for them.

For we have no permanent city in this life,

but we look for one in the life to come.

The business of this life is about getting home, going to heaven, and bringing the most people we can there.

So rise, my friend. the most people we can there.

This place is not your home, nor was it ever.
