What is the purpose of life?

That is a question that has been asked over and over for centuries.

But let's make that question a little more personal.

What is the purpose of your life?

That is what we consider today here on Searchlight as we look at the life of John the Baptist

in John chapter one. Let's now join Pastor John as he introduces us to this

interesting man and we consider how we can become people of purpose.

John Chapter 1, verse 19.

And this is the record of John when the Jew sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him,

Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not, but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they

asked him, what then are thou Elijah? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he said, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, no.
