I'm going to ask a question of you in this time together that God asked me.

And he asked me in the middle of the night and I want to say first

of all in case you think I'm really holy and really spiritual that God wakes me in the night with like

words and prophecies and dreams I think God speaks to me at night for one reason and one reason alone

and that's because it's the only time he knows

my mouth is closed and he can get a word in and so I think God's like she's quiet this is good

I can actually tell her something so I've learned to keep a note pattern pen by my bed just in case I

have those thoughts that I know it's kind of God grabbing my attention and so so this is how this came about. And the context of

how it came about, I think is also important for some of you to hear because there are times in all

of our lives when we get really busy and there's a lot of demands. And I was in a season where

there was just a lot going on and there was a lot of demands and there was a lot of opportunity and it was all good.

But it wasn't necessarily all God.

And I think God was trying to get my attention in a season when I was making a lot of decisions

to remind me of the reason why I should make decisions.

So maybe this question is going to visit you in the same season of your life, in the season

of the church life.

And I think this question has to be something we keep coming back to time after time, after

time.
