So many people have requested a collaboration with Whitney Webb.

And could you just tell the people watching this who you are and how you came into the Epstein case, please?

All right, so my name is Whitney Webb.

I have been writing with Mint Press News for about three years, and that is where this series ended up being published.

I got into writing about the Epstein scandal quite by accident.

I only really had my, decided to investigate it for myself when it came out that Epstein had been, or Alex Acosta, who used to work in the Trump administration when he was being interviewed by the Trump transition team,

stated that his reason for, you know, signing off on Epstein's sweetheart deal in 2008 was because Epstein had belonged to intelligence.

So when that came out, I was really interested in seeing if I could find out, you know,

what intelligence agency that was in the nature of how that relationship began and things

like that.

And what I found is that this is something that did not really start with Epstein.

It goes much farther back.

And there's a lot of, you know, ties between

Epstein to previous sexual blackmail operations that really date back, you know, going back to

the Prohibition era, because this is a tactic that was really perfected in the U.S. by the American

mafia, who later got in bed with intelligence.

And that nexus is essentially what gave rise to Jeffrey Epstein,

which is probably like the shortest summary I can give of the whole series I did,
