The ballroom, I don't understand the objection to improving a ballroom that was unable to hold

the state dinners that they have.

They have to literally put a tent up out on the lawn.

This has been something that others, long before President Trump talked about doing as an improvement to the White House.

At the White House Correspondence Center on Saturday night,

things took a sharp turn when a gunman tried to breach a secured area with shots fired on a nearby floor that sparked a real security

scare. Donald, and almost his entire cabinet, was in the ballroom at the hotel. They never

appeared to be in any immediate danger whatsoever, and security ultimately held. But the incident is raising serious questions

across the board. Now Donald, bizarrely, is using what happened on Saturday night to make the case

that his ballroom, his $400 million ballroom is more urgent than ever. Even though the White House correspondence

dinner, an event with over 3,000 people, is one a private event that has nothing to do with the

White House and is way too big for even his $400 billion ballroom. So it would never be held there anyway.

Within a couple of hours of what could have been potentially a very serious incident,

Donald and company were back at the White House press room for a presser to tell the American people

that, again, the shooting is a clear

example of why that ballroom is more necessary than the air we breathe or the food we eat.
