For the weekend, Tucker Carlson made an extraordinary claim.

He said that the CIA had been spying on him, reading his texts, and they were preparing

a criminal referral to the DOJ for FARA violations.

That's the Foreign Agent Registration Act, basically saying he was acting as a foreign

agent for the country of Iran.

Now, this spawned off a bunch of conspiracy theories, notably

that Donald Trump brought Tucker Carlson to the White House knowing he was a traitor and a spy,

and that by feeding him false information, Tucker would feed that false information to the Iranians,

lulling them into a false sense of security so that the

U.S. could strike. Now, that may be true. What Tucker is saying may be true, but the White House

has come out and just denied it, saying they had a cordial conversation. He was not fed any

false information. There's no criminal referral. So what the is really going on? You know, my friends, it feels like I'm taking crazy pills

as people that I've known and trusted for some time

seem to just be, they, I'm gonna say it just like this.

I think they are latching on to a desperate need

to get viewership and attention at a time

when viewership and attention is going down dramatically.

And I know a lot of people are going to say that's a simple and it's a condescending view of

things that maybe these people are just correct. Maybe these prominent personalities who have

begun posting incessantly about Erica Kirk and Israel are correct. I don't know.

But I'm going to say this. Some of these people, and I'm not saying, Tucker's not doing that.
