Hello, welcome to another episode of the Weeds on the Vox Media Podcast Network.

I'm Matthew Glacias joined by Tara Galsham and first time Weedser Jeff Stein.

Hi, thanks for having me.

Yeah, so Jeff and Tara cover Congress for us here at TheVox.com.

Tara are mostly looking at Republicans, Jeff mostly Democrats,

but it's really, it's one big happy bipartisan family these days,

so we thought we'd bring everybody together here to talk about some of the parties'

individual struggles.

We want to talk about some sort of ambitious progressive legislation

and want to talk about budget antics on the Republican side.

But start out with deals that have been made.

Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi came over to the White House on,

what was it Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and they had some Chinese food.

It did.

And they hashed out an agreement to protect dreamers and possibly fund the border.

And it was kind of one.
