All right, y'all, there's just so much to get to. As you may recall on Friday, I'd said that, well, actually on Thursday, I had said that on Friday, we were going to talk economy. There were all these numbers coming out, the jobs numbers, blah, blah, blah, but then once Friday got here, I was like, you know what, my spirit just couldn't take it. And so we had a completely different topic on Friday. I needed something a little lighter, a little less heavy in the news to go into the weekend. And so I hope that all worked out

1:16.2

for you. But today, that means that we now have to deal with the mess that is Trumponomics, right? And so

1:23.3

Trumponomics, I really like to think of them as W-E-I-Nomics, white entitled and incompetent nomics, because when we're talking about a Trump economy, whether you want to call it the Trump slump, Trumpflation, or Trumponomics, it's all terrible. And it is exactly what you would expect from a W.E.I presidency. Now, some of you may be wondering, what the hell is W.EI? Well, for those of you who are new to me to this experience, I coined the term W.E.I, which stands for white, entitled, and incompetent after the 2024 election. And I coined this phrase because we all needed some phrase, some phrase, some language that was going to allow us to push back on the way that white nationalists were making

2:02.2

the phrase DEI, diversity, equity, and inclusion into a slur. Or at least they were trying to.

2:07.8

And you may recall that they were renaming DEI as didn't earn it. And they said that if you're a

2:12.8

diversity hire, you were not qualified. You didn't have any merit. And so before I get into the awfulness

2:18.4

that is Trumponomics right now in terms of the national economy, let's sit in this space of

2:23.9

WEI for just a little bit. I've now started to see memes and images with the acronym W.E.I.

2:30.0

White entitled and incompetent with a bunch of white men's faces on it. I love it. I think it's

2:33.8

taking off wonderfully just as I intended. However, we got to make sure we are clear on the nature of the

2:40.0

WEI reality, the white entitled and incompetent reality. So we can employ this analysis whenever we're

2:45.4

looking at what's happening here in this nation or across the globe. So keep in mind, the only reason

2:50.2

that we needed programs that

2:51.6

fell under the label of diversity, equity, and inclusion was because there was, we just needed

2:56.5

something that was going to break this multi-decade white American racist project to exclude

3:02.5

black people from participating in anything, right? So once segregation became illegal, white people who were racist

3:09.6

refused to stop being racist. Now, some of them decided to give up the ghosts, but most of them,

3:14.3

largely speaking, refused to actually stop being racist. In fact, they were so committed to racism

3:19.9

that it didn't matter how qualified you were. Your non-white skin was going to be a barrier that

3:24.1

your excellence was simply not going to be able to overcome.
