And for reasons that seem structural, like, that are totally baked into this.

This is a pattern recognition software.

It's a predictive text souped up times of a gajillion.

So for all sorts of reasons, you can imagine it doing very badly at art.

But it's like, isn't the most obvious application of this technology to offload a bunch

of the kind of work that coders already do?

Like, it's all math in coding.

That said, there's other stuff, too, in the white collar universe that has that quality.

And to me, the most uncomfortable dimension of this conversation is that we are already

swimming in work product that could, might as well have been produced by a machine.
