Great things.

A lot of new listeners to the Armstrong and Getty Show, which we appreciate a great deal.

And I'm reminded occasionally we ought to reset various things so you understand what's going on.

I can't help but plug our little rejoin music. We play at the top of every hour.

Big story today is that we're what's today Tuesday a couple of days away from the big house impeachment vote.

Whatever it is it's authorizing a an impeachment inquiry.

And we write rewrite this stuff every time we as a country try to impeach a president.

It's only happened three times really if you include Nixon.

And that one didn't go all the way to the trial phase, but only happened three times about 150 years apart.

And the Constitution's pretty vague.

And so we make it up as we go long.

And it's the will of the American people, the judgment of the voters that keeps things more or less on the rail.

Now given our highly partisan and wildly hyperbolic times right now,

it's it's much, much less dignified.

And there's much less agreement on what ought to happen.

How it ought to look than the than even the previous times which were pretty crazy.

So anyway, the house is going to say yes, yes, this is now an official impeachment inquiry,
