If you could guarantee Mitch Marner or Carill Caprisov this summer or next,

who would you rather have?

We talked about this yesterday off the air and we decided to bring it on the air.

Mario, I know you're going to make the case for Mitch Marner.

For me, this is an easy, like, slam dunk.

I think you get, if you can guarantee one of them, it's Mitch Marner.

I think you get the guy right now. And I think how much credence do we want to give to the Connor Bardard is or is not happy?

Connor Bedard needs a running mate.

Whether, you know, he's going to be asking for a trade or anything, put all that aside of the lunacy of he's going to ask for a traitor

he hates it in chicago put that aside the truth is he does need somebody he needs someone that can

that can not only think the game at his level play the game at a level that he wants to get to and

he can get to but is also going to bring him and the rest of

the team up. You get him that guy now. You get him that guy next season. And it's Mitch Marner. It

elevates Baderd. It elevates the team. And if you are saying, we got to make Connor happy,

what bigger thing to do to say, we went and got the biggest fish,

the guy that's going to play with you through the rest of his prime here. He's going to be there.

He's going to be that guy. We did that so now that you can be happy, you can play off of him.

And you know, you look at Mitch Marner and is, is he a product of being on a super team?

Sure.

I think there's some credence to that being, you know, four 90 point seasons would have had five

if he would have played all of two seasons ago.

Yes, there is some to be said to that, but this is a guy that's still at both ends of the ice is a factor.
