Are you putting your first round pick on the bench in the fantasy playoffs?

You know who I'm talking about when I say your first round pick might be, should be, should be.

I mean, is it harder to make a case for Justin Jefferson than it is to make a case against Justin Jefferson in week 16 lineups against the Giants.

It's almost impossible to make a case for him at this point. By the way, I think if you take injury off the table,

a pretty good first round by ADP for almost everybody, by know for that first round ADP especially compared to

past years where typically three four guys in the first round just utterly flop it you know,

Malik neighbors at the end of the first round got hurt. Ashton Genty end of the first round,

major disappointment. But Justin Jefferson going as early as pick two in many leagues

sitting on two touchdowns as we roll into week number 16.

It has been a brutal season because of the onboarding of J.J. McCarthy, the rather

ragged onboarding of J.J. McCarthy.

And SIG, I don't have to tell you that it's not entirely on

J.J. McCarthy. And in fact, J.J. has actually sprayed a lot of balls in the direction of

Justin Jefferson. Now, they're not high quality targets. But Jefferson averaging eight

targets per game from J.J. McCarthy, you would think on eight targets from any

NFL quarterback, Justin Jefferson would be a sure thing. But when he dropped that pass in the

back of the end zone and it wasn't a perfect pass, but it was the kind of pass that Justin

Jefferson makes 98 times out of 100, you can't, you find yourself in a spot now where Justin Jefferson has lost the benefit of the doubt

and even though the Giants are not an oppressively good past defense they're still much easier

to run on than pass upon and I think the Vikings will have a run first approach this weekend
