Thank you so much for hanging out with us today.

We're putting the finishing touches here on the fantasy draft season. One more big

0:25.7

draft weekend to get through here. I know most leagues wait until after the preseason,

0:30.8

after cut down day when all that's over to have your draft, which I think is smart because

0:36.2

you're working with the most information at that

0:38.1

point. You know who's made each roster. You should be able to get a pretty good idea of where

0:43.1

things stand injury-wise, too, and that's what we're here to help with today. Now, if you've been

0:48.1

listening to the show, you know my approach with injuries by now. I've learned a lot over the years

0:53.1

following the NFL, covering

0:54.4

the NFL, seeing some of the same type of issues pop up over and over. So sometimes you have

0:59.7

a feel for what to expect. But every injury has to be looked at case by case. And that's why I

1:05.2

also follow a ton of great injury analysts, many of whom have been on the show before. Some I still

1:10.2

need to get on here. Heck, I even hit up my buddy Ryan Parker, who's a physiotherapist. I get his take on certain injuries sometimes and he's gotten pretty big into fantasy the last couple of years. So I think now he's like expecting the questions when a big injury happens. But I think it's important to try to get as many takes on these injuries as possible and then you try to formulate your own opinion or

1:30.4

a consensus of what the most likely outcome is going to be and today's guest

1:34.5

He is on my list of trusted sources now as well

1:37.5

Somebody whose work I've sort of following the last couple years closely. He's a Stanford and Harvard trained sports surgeon

It's been featured on ESPN

1:45.6

and The Athletic and Yahoo, among other places. You can even see some of his content over at Fantasy

1:51.4

Pros as well. And you can follow him on Twitter at SportMD Analysis. So let me welcome to the show for the

1:58.4

first time, Deepak Chona. Deepak, thank you for being here, man. We have talked a bit on Twitter. I've wanted to get you on the show for a while now. And I think this is the perfect time to do it. We're right before the season, right before this final week of fantasy drafts. I'm hoping you can get us caught up on some of the notable injuries that are still lingering out there but welcome to the show man

how you doing i'm doing great man thanks for having me on i'm pumped to be here and as you said there's a
