Coming at you a little bit early before the episode starts to give some bad news, a member of our family is mourning the loss of their father right now.

Carrie, as you may have heard in the past episode, was dealing with the passing of their father,

and he has passed. And so Carrie won't be on this episode and won't be on the next episode

either while she

understandably is mourning and dealing with everything.

I wanted to come on a little bit early because, you know, when I lost my father, it was a special

thing to come back to the podcast because this, this thing that Carrie and I created years ago like I like we always say we're

just fans of the golden girls and we're just sharing our fandom of our love of the golden girls with you

and one of the things that I love about the golden girls is that it brings people together and it brings

it brought all of us together in special ways and so so when I lost my father, it was hard.

And I didn't really know how to come back and how to be a normal person again and do all the things.

And so I leaned into the Golden Girls.

And I leaned into this community.

And this community really helped me process a really difficult time.

It's helped me over the years in lots of different ways.

And I know that Carrie will be experiencing the exact same thing. helped me process a really difficult time. It's helped me over the years in lots of different ways.

And I know that Carrie will be experiencing the exact same things because I've been there. And you've probably been there as well. So I wanted to come on early and encourage all of you

to send your love and your prayers, if that's what you believe or your thoughts to Carrie and her family

and Stan right now to wish them well and during this very, very difficult time. And to say that
