Hello and welcome to the All In with Allie podcast.

You may notice this is not Ali.

This is her better half, her light, her heart, her inspiration, her husband, Chris Reeves.

I'm really excited to join you all this week and talk a little bit about something that's very close to my heart and something

that Ali and I have been walking through and supporting the last few years, which is an organization

called Change the Stars, which helps children and refugees in Haiti.

And so I had a chance to come on with Ali, talk about some experiences that I got to see firsthand

in Haiti in January, talk about some of the amazing things that are happening there and some

amazing stories that are unfolding as we speak.

And a lot of that is because of the generosity that came from this group and from people listening to this podcast

to support the fundraiser that Allie ran in December. So I just wanted to say thank you for that.

Yeah, and we're recording this because there were a couple of details that we forgot to mention

in the actual episode that gives of details that we forgot to mention in the actual episode

that gives more context that we want you to know. And there's been a really big update

related to a little girl named Angelica, which you are about to hear in just a moment. So

Chris is going to give you those details. And then we will get to the episode. Go ahead.

Yeah. So you'll hear about Angelica's story. It is a literal miracle unfolding as we speak. It's

amazing. Angelica is an amazing girl who's about 14 years old. It's gone through some horrific

challenges in her life. She's in the middle of getting some much needed medical help.

But some of those things that we've talked about in the podcast episode when we recorded it

have become more serious in the last few days.

And so Angelica's had a couple of surgeries since we last recorded this episode.
