And he hid that for a year from me because he thought that I was so devout that I'd want to divorce him if I knew.

And then finally he came to me and he said, I'm really struggling.

And it was right after our son was baptized.

So after he shared that with you, after your husband shared that he was struggling, how did that go?

It was amazingly fast. He walked in and he said, this is what I found. And he found some pretty

damning racist stuff about the church. And then he showed me some stuff about Joseph Smith. And I said,

so it's not true?

And he said, I don't think so.

And I said, so we're done then.

because when I was in school I went to a Christian school when I was growing up and we watched

the movie the godmakers and we had a whole like semester talking

about cults. And, um, and I remember in the Godmakers when they were talking about like

black people, um, being the descendant of the onethird of the angels that came down with Lucifer,
