Yesterday I was very touched by all your tweets

about times that you had missed school

for things that are not coronavirus related

because it just painted an amazing picture

of how different people's lives are

and things they've gone through.

So Dr Cara Bell sent me a message saying,

I missed four months of school, age nine,

was never a problem and I bounced back,

done well with two degrees,

and now a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Not bad, Angus Preston says,

when I was 10, my dad got terminally ill,

I ended up being homeschooled for about two months

by my mom.

She somehow managed to look after three 10 to 13-year-old boys,

cared for her dying husband

and do all the other things mom's do.

A lesson in life itself about amazing women,

and last week I sat my chemistry finals

at the University of Edinburgh.
