And in this week's post, I'm going to be discussing what I see as being a critically important

part of becoming an alchemical herbalist, right? Or this

path of spigyrics, which is really the branch of the alchemical tradition that focuses on

working with medicinal plants. And, you know, one of the first things that we oftentimes do in the practical

aspect of herbal alchemy is create what is referred to as the seven basics, right? Which is a

preparation of one herb for each of the seven planets in astrology, the inner planets of astrology,

and that you prepare a spajiric for each of those planets so that you can receive the healing

and the initiatic virtue of that planet and of the remedy that correlates

to that planet.

Man, that's kind of like our first step.

It gets you in the lab.

It gets you understanding some of the processes in doing laboratory Spajeric work, as well

as really understanding how the philosophy and the practice
