I recently had a proud dad moment slash terrified dad moment when one of my editors

messaged me with a question about a part in one of the recent episodes of our new show Guessnicity,

a podcast where Luther brings the case and you guess the race.

Sounds a lot better when Luther does it.

Anyway, the editor texted me with a little recording of his screen

as he played a part of the show. In particular,

it was a part where they were discussing using cocaine. And Kent, bless his heart,

might have been heard in Kent Chungus's special way, explaining which part of the male anatomy

he would snort it off of in a certain situation. I was also a guest host on that episode,

and as I do often with the things that Kent says, I had safely locked it away in my mind.

In this little trauma box of silly jokes that I hope to never hear again,

inside of another box labeled Kent's thoughts, do not open again ever.

Inside of a heart-shaped box, because I just love that man so much,

even when he says things that dent my soul a bit.

Anyway, the editor was asking me if he should keep it in or cut it out.

I gave the editor an analogy about 1159 media being like a strip mall that we own and that although we own

the strip mall we can't prevent anyone from renting a space even if we don't choose to buy the same

products that they're selling in essence i was trying to explain that i won't push any speech

standard on any other creator,

and that we have only one rule at 1159 media that keeps us pretty safe.

We don't disparage others.
