It's also a day that, well, the media is allowed to attend.

Segment number two, all things Fernando Mendoza. what's been, you know, the early return on Fernando. How is the people in the building?

How are they feeling about what they're seeing from the number one overall pick? And is there an opportunity for him to push Kirk Cousins sooner than expected? That's all coming up in segment number two. Here in segment number one, normally it's news and notes. Really, it's just going to be about the OTAs that is going on getting back in action today and we'll be able to be out there. So they were in practice earlier this week on the 26th. They're in practice today. They'll have practice again coming up tomorrow. It's 930 to 1130. Andrew Janoko, offensive coordinator. He'll actually speak to us after practice and we'll have select players around 1230. So again, 9.30, Pacific time to 1130 based off what time you're listening to this. It might be going on. Practice might be over. We might already be talking to the players or the coaches, whatever the case may be. But it is our opportunity to be out here. And we'll get to get out there again next week. And then, of course, they'll have mandatory mini camp as well. And then they'll have a break and come back for training camp. But last week, I really had a good game plan of what I wanted to focus in on, who I wanted to focus in on when we got out there for the first round of OTAs that we could attend. And I did the job. I completed the mission to a certain extent. Don't think I did

everything that I was set out to do. I might have had a checklist that was too long. I don't know

whatever happened. I know I got fixated on the defense for quite a while, standing there. And look,

I don't know where they're going to position us

for practice today we were over by the far field last time and you know Fernando mendoza was in the

middle field Kurt cousins and you know really the ones and I say it ones and air quote was closest

to us but we saw a lot of defense and then the field behind me had a lot of the defense alignment as well. And I really got locked in and fixated on the defense alignment for a really long time and just really got focused on the defense. Started watching a lot of Jamad McCoy, the corners, seeing what that kind of look like. And so sometimes you go in with the game plan and then something catches your attention and it doesn't really

work out the way that you want. So I have a game plan. I do. And I'm going to try to stick to it. And since we're talking to Andrew Janelko, who's the offensive coordinator, I'm really going to attempt to focus in on the offensive side of things. I'm going to try to focus in on Jack Bess. I'm going to try to focus in on Dante Thornton, Speedy Nailer, right?

Y receivers in general.

Y-Receivers in general. I saw Ashen Gentie a lot, saw the running backs a lot last week. And, I mean, look, it's hard to really determine how good they look until the offensive line puts the pads on, until the defensive line puts on the pads. It's really hard to determine. And again, I don't want to take too much from any of

these OTAs because there's no physicality, as I just mentioned. Right. So you kind of have to take it with a grain of salt. These guys are really trying to, as Clint Kubiak told us last week, he's trying to prepare them for training camp. So that's all they're trying to do. Get a lather up, get a, you know, acclimated with the scheme, get acclimated with the system, the terminology, where they're supposed to line up.

We saw some Kirk Cousins correcting where guys were lined up last week. So, you know, stuff like that you'll pay attention to. But I'm really trying to focus in on the offense. As much as I'm a defense guy, even during training camp, when we're able to walk

around pretty much the whole field and observe everything, I'm always standing around the defense
