All right, well, I want to start by, we'll get into when y'all were players, but first let's talk about your experience, like your first memory of the college world series.

0:14.0

That's a kid maybe.

0:15.0

Any type of memory tied around Omaha in the college world series?

0:19.0

My first vivid memory,

0:22.9

realistically,

0:24.3

is watching the Brad Cressy single,

0:28.7

Ryan Terrio sliding in the home.

0:31.2

And I can remember saying then,

0:32.9

even though I had no clue of what the path,

0:34.7

or if there was a path, I'd be like,

0:36.5

man, that'd be pretty cool to do.

0:37.5

That looks kind of fun.

0:57.6

So, like, that's my first, like, vivid memory of it. But, uh, yeah. Mine was, at 1998, I actually came here as an eight-year-old with my uncles and cousins and, uh, LSU was going for the three-peat. and they were 2 and O and then they had a cold front and the cold front June.

1:01.2

I know it's crazy, but the wind started blowing in, no more home runs.

1:02.9

They end up losing the next two and go home.

1:04.4

But that was my first real experience.

1:10.5

And then as I got older, 22,000 year, I kind of understood it a little bit more.

2:02.6

And so I watched that game. And I had the privilege of getting to play with Mike Fontenow down the line in ProBall, and so I kind of made fun of him there, and then obviously in 2009 when we were here, but this is my first time back to Omaha since we won it in 2009. And Jared and the guys had gone through that unbelievable season in 2008, right? They had a 23-game winning streak. They got to Omaha. They're a national seat. And that was his sophomore year. So then 2009, we had a lot of guys come back. And we had the expectations similar to like the LSU guys had this year, where the expectations were Omaha or bus, national championship type of thing. And so I was just trying to fit in where I could fit in. And, you know, fortunate for me, I was able to get on the field and play a little bit more.

2:05.0

And then we came here and we ended up winning it.

2:10.0

So that, I mean, that experience to come here as a freshman and to go out there and win the entire thing,

2:12.4

especially the way we did it was pretty special.

2:23.3

My experience here was, so in 2008, we're back. In 2008 when we came, I, we were riding like a super high, we had that long winning
