Sometimes God works through miracles but we see in the book of Ruth how He works through his invisible hand of providence. In our marriages, somebody needs to be in control. If the husband or wife is in control it’s going to be a disaster but if the husband and wife trust that God is in control it can be beautiful. 0:10.7	might be coming. And it's trusting in the providence of God over your life and in and through the
0:16.0	details of your life that puts you in a position that when it's time for the miracle, you're in the right
0:20.7	place at the right time to receive the miracle. Why do we ever doubt God? We just see over and over,
0:26.5	he is working in and through everything. And I think in our marriages, when we get desperate,
0:30.9	we try and grab the reins and think, oh, God must not be paying attention right now. So I'll
0:35.3	just, you know, I'll take the reins for a little bit.
0:38.1	Somebody needs to be in control, I nominate me. If the husband is in control, it's a disaster.

1:48.2	Bethlehem, where Jesus is from, and God's people are to be found. Over all of the story
1:54.5	is God. If you just read the story of Ruth, you're going to see disobedient believers, naughty nasty, unbelievers,
2:06.3	death, funerals, infertility, childlessness, homelessness, poverty, devastation, zero chance
