Sunday, February 10th, 2019 was a cool day in Dublin,

and the afternoon weather forecast could have just as easily been given in Iceland as it was for Ireland.

Heavy showers will spread for south-eastwards across the country

and there's a warning that westerly winds will increase gale or strong gale force.

Joanne's partner, Yanna, had reported him missing to Gardee a few hours earlier.

She then returned to the only place she knew in Ireland, her bedroom in the Bonnington Hotel.

This was so mostly scary.

I didn't go out of my room a lot.

I went out to smoke and that was it.

Back home in Iceland, news was beginning to filter through to Yohn's family

that Yanna had now reported him missing to the Irish police on Garda Shokona.

And Yon had just walked out.

And this day I just knew something was wrong.

Anna Hilder, Yohn's sister, was standing in a parking lot in Reykjavik

when she got the call to say that something had happened to Yon.

And I know something is wrong.

I just knew it from the start.

My brother is missing and something is wrong.

And we talk as siblings. They were trying to contact him, but they didn't reach him.

And Yana said like he went out, but he didn't come back.

Before long, all of Yon's siblings would leave to go searching for Yon in Ireland.
