Summary
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
GENSIS 16:7-16 - 7 The angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to Shur. 8 And he said, “Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from my mistress Sarai.” 9 The angel of the Lord said to her, “Return to your mistress and submit to her.” 10 The angel of the Lord also said to her, “I will surely multiply your offspring so that they cannot be numbered for multitude.” 11 And the angel of the Lord said to her, “Behold, you are pregnant and shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the Lord has listened to your affliction.12 He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.” 13 So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, “You are a God of seeing,” for she said, “Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.” 14 Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; it lies between Kadesh and Bered. 15 And Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael. 16 Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.

| 0:00.0 | Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset, Gary Green here. I want to start |
| 0:09.3 | out by asking you a question that we have all probably asked ourselves at one time or |
| 0:13.9 | another. And that is when you're being treated wrongly, where is God? What's going on |
| 0:21.3 | in that situation from a heavenly perspective? We're going to dig into that through the |
| 0:26.0 | life of Abraham today. But before we get there, I want to invite you to something very |
| 0:30.8 | special. I'm very powerful that has begun that I think you would contribute to very well. |
| 0:37.8 | And it's the morning mindset prayer team. If you would like to receive regular updates |
| 0:42.5 | to know what's going on with the morning mindset and related ministries so that you can |
| 0:46.8 | be praying about those issues, please check the link in today's episode and join the morning |
| 0:53.1 | mindset prayer team. Okay, we are digging into the book of Genesis once again, the life |
| 0:59.5 | of Abraham. We're going to be looking at Genesis 16, 7 through 16. This is a situation |
| 1:06.4 | in the life of Abraham that I don't see to be one of the shining moments in his life. |
| 1:11.7 | He and his wife Saraje at this point have this decision to make. They've already made |
| 1:17.5 | kind of a bad decision in the past and they're just compounding their mistake here. And |
| 1:22.6 | they are doing that by sending away Hagar. Saraje's servant, who is now pregnant with |
| 1:30.0 | Abraham's child. And if that makes you scratch your head, just go back and listen to the |
| 1:34.1 | last few episodes and you'll see what led up to this decision. Verse 7 says, the angel of |
| 1:39.6 | the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness. This is Hagar. She is running |
| 1:45.7 | away from her home with Abraham and Saraje because she's being mistreated by Saraje and |
| 1:51.7 | Abraham basically gave Saraje to do this. And it says, so the angel of the Lord found her |
| 1:57.5 | by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to shore. And he said, |
| 2:02.0 | Hey, Ghar, servant of Saraje, where have you come from and where are you going? She said, |
