When you see what a person is like, you're either repelled or drawn in.

That's all prayer is.

It's just going through life as if God is actually there, like he's your friend and father,

and cares for you.

You know, one of the things I've honestly struggled with, and you know this,

is reconciling the God of the Old Testament with the God of the New Testament.

Oh, you have struggled with this.

Like, how can this happen?

I mean, there's been times when I've gone through the one-year Bible, and I'm like,

I don't want to read anymore in the Old Testament.

It just feels like God's a God of wrath.

And Jesus in the New Testament, who said, if you want to see the Father, look at me, he's

a loving God.

And I'm like, how do these two go together?
