Good morning. It's three minutes after ten. Thank you for tuning in to LBC. On the program today,

we will look first, I think, at it's a difficult one

on this, because my industry likes nothing more than a slightly bogus self-examination in the

aftermath of tragedy to which this industry has probably contributed. But I just wondered when we

came off air yesterday, I did just wonder whether when examining some of the repercussions of Caroline

Flack's death, I did wonder whether we'd been looking a bit too much in one direction towards

the social media side of things. And unwittingly, and definitely unintentionally, perhaps

letting normal media off the hook, i.e. the people that get paid to do this stuff,

as opposed to the baffling rise of people who just do it for, quotes, fun, end quotes.

I'm drawn to Imelda Staunton's intervention on the question of eating in theatres and cinemas.

I just wonder, I see, I wouldn't do it for fear of the response

if someone's having a bag of Doritos and you're trying to watch Star Wars.

You just presume that the ignorance involved in doing that in the first place,

probably, I could be wrong on this,

but probably speaks of a person who doesn't really care about your feelings and possibly an ignorance that might see a fruity response, shall we say, if you were to request them to step away from the snacks.

I was going to talk about hypnibirthing, but then I thought, life's too short.

Similarly, this number 10 advisor, who's been apparently promoting eugenics, you just sort of think, I'll go away.

And thankfully for once, this time he has.

So we can move on from that as well.
