The end of USL is back for just a few weeks before the next international break.

And we had to take a beat and talk about probably the biggest story over the international break before and after, which is the coaching change for the Washington spirit.

I have more questions than answers.

So I brought in an old friend.

I brought in Jason Anderson of USA Today and pro soccer wire, who is on the ground in

Washington, D.C.

To give me the scoop on how the coaches are feeling, the players are feeling, the fans are

feeling, and what this means for Michelle Kang's soccer empire going forward.

Let's jump in.

So the NWSL is back for actually kind of a brief period here. They're going to play a

couple weeks of games and then it's going to be off to all of the big tournaments for

Copa America Feminile. We're going to have the Euros. The NWS is going to take a little bit of

a break. But let's take a moment here to take some stock of one of the bigger stories of the NWSL over even, you know, some news that broke over the international break, what we've seen before and after, which is that Jonathan Heraldez is leaving the Washington Spirit a year after he joined midseason from FC Barcelona.

He's going to go join spirit owner Michelle Kang's European side.
