But we begin today with the macroeconomic number of the day.

That is the headline number for the consumer price index brought to us this morning by the

It is still high, yes, and triple where the federal reserve would like to see inflation.

But this makes 8 months in a row now that the rate of price increases has slowed.

Now, one of the big reasons it hasn't slowed more is how much it costs to keep a roof over our heads.

Shelter says the Bureau of Labor Statistics is driving more than 70% of inflation right now.

At the same time though, the feds rising interest rates are having quite an impact on real estate,
