0:04.0	And the topic of today's newsletter is going to be where do we stand in our relationship?
0:10.0	So men that are always wondering this when they're, especially when they start dating a woman and they're maybe a few weeks or a few months in,
0:19.0	they're constantly communicating that they're needy,
0:22.6	that they're insecure, that they lack confidence in themselves.
0:27.6	And so I've got an email from a guy that's basically,
0:30.6	he started dating a woman in January, 2021.
0:33.6	Things are great for the first three or four months,
0:36.6	and then they went on vacation and he was
0:39.4	kind of a cold fish because he was focused on work-related stresses and she noticed something was off
0:46.1	and he kind of neglected her stopped doing everything that made him successful in the first place
0:51.7	and then about a month or so later, she broke up with him.
0:57.0	And then three days later, she got in touch, they hooked up again, but now things have
1:02.0	kind of been in limbo for about a month or so, and it's not really progressing.
1:07.0	And so this guy's kind of in that space where he got to the point where it's like, why
1:13.0	I always say read the book 10 to 15 times.
1:15.4	He didn't follow instructions.
1:17.2	Even admits in the, I think it was the headline of his email that he obviously didn't read
1:22.4	the book enough.
1:23.4	And so sometimes he's coming off as being robotic, but the bottom mind is he's focused on constantly
1:29.2	on where he stands and whether or not it's going to work out.
1:32.4	So he's not living in the present moment.
